This 160+ member organization aims to preserve and promote interest in the heritage of this part of our country's history, ca.1865-1899. The Society encourages the members to do extensive research so that wardrobe, weapons and trappings will be authentically true.

Cannon Old West Society is a living history organization formed of individuals that promote a common interest in the "OLD WEST."  We  are dedicated to the safe enjoyment of reenactments of our Western heritage.  C.O.W.S. performs reenactments of old west activities dressed in authentic period clothing (1865-1899).

Visiting the Spirit of the West Festival will allow you to travel back in time, be entertained, and to shop from one of the many vendors. There's plenty to do for everyone.
